Our Philosophy
Why we made this book free. Why we trust people over paywalls. Why this knowledge matters too much to gatekeep.
Why we made this book free. Why we trust people over paywalls. Why this knowledge matters too much to gatekeep.
Let's be clear about something: we believe in free markets. If someone invests their time, intelligence, and effort into creating something of value — a book, a course, a tool — they have every right to put a price on it. In a normal scenario, we would probably do the same.
But this is not a normal scenario.
The knowledge in this book exposes systems that are actively harming billions of people — and that harm continues precisely because most people don't understand how these systems work. This isn't an accident. The mechanics of modern banking, finance, and crypto exchanges are kept opaque by design. The complexity isn't a bug — it's the tool that keeps the exploitation running.
When a system of oppression depends on ignorance to survive, making people pay for the knowledge that frees them feels like the wrong move. This is one of those situations where we either reach a critical mass of people who understand what's happening — or the harm simply continues for everyone.
That's why we made this book free. Not because all knowledge should be free — but because this specific knowledge is too critical to gatekeep.
Instead, we chose a different model: give first, and trust people. Outflow is more important than inflow. When you give value without demanding payment upfront, you create the conditions for genuine exchange. Some will read and pass it on. Some will read and contribute what they can. Some will read and tell others. We believe more of that happens without a paywall than with one — and that the goodwill of people, freely given, is worth more than any forced transaction.
We don't use gimmicky prices like $9.95 or $19.99. Those numbers exist for a reason — they're designed to trick your brain into feeling like you're "getting a deal".
We consider those prices to be a small affront on the intelligence of our fellow human beings. If something is worth $9.95, it's worth $10. If it's worth $49.50, it probably is worth $50. We consider round numbers honest numbers.
We keep things simple. We'd rather be straightforward. If you find value in this work and want to contribute, we accept donations in ANY amount. Your contribution is 100% voluntary, transparent, and entirely up to you. This is a just a comment on why our pre-defined buttons for donations will contain strictly round numbers: $10, $25, $50, $100.
But hey, if you decide to donate $47, or whatever price is in fashion for e-marketers at this time and place — feel free to do so!
This book is released under Creative Commons BY-ND 4.0. In human language, that means:
Share it. Copy it. Distribute it. Post it on your website. Email it to friends. Print it and hand it out. We want this knowledge to spread as far and as wide as possible.
Give credit. When you share it, let people know who wrote it. A link back to this site is all we ask.
Don't modify it. The text stays as written. You can excerpt it, you can quote it, you can discuss it — but you can't alter it and claim it as the new version. That keeps the integrity intact.
That's it. Simple. The more people who read this, the better the world becomes. We believe that so strongly that we've made it legal — and easy — to share.
This model works because of people like you — readers who understand why this knowledge matters, and who give back when they've received value.
